TRAINING IN NUTRITIONAL THERAPY
The Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC) is responsible for accreditation of courses. Standards are set down in the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Nutritional Therapy and the NTC's Core Curriculum. Both documents can be downloaded from the NTC website at www.nutritionaltherapycouncil.org.uk.
Nutritional Therapy Practitioners who have obtained the NTC Certificate of Competence may use the letters NTCC after their names.
Please Note: The NTC is unable to give personal advice to prospective students. The NTC site lists the training providers which are to go through accreditation in the next two years. Anyone wishing to study nutritional therapy should enquire of the training institutes listed about the features of their course and make their choice after appropriate due diligence.
